Notes
Like its parent species, this hybrid grows primarily during the warm, rainy summer months. It is a slow-growing succulent that requires a strictly dry winter dormancy, during which the plant will typically shrink or pull slightly into the soil.
Origin
Horticultural hybrid. This is a cross between Lophophora fricii (native to the Viesca basin in Coahuila, Mexico) and the cultivar/selection 'Yatagai' (a Japanese-bred form of Lophophora, often associated with L. fricii or L. diffusa genetics, bred for specific rib morphology and wooliness).
