Notes
While native to a region with significant winter rainfall, this species is most active during the warm months and spring. It should be kept relatively dry during its winter rest to prevent rot.
Origin
Western Cape, South Africa. It is endemic to a very small area in the Little Karoo (Klein Karoo), specifically on sandy, quartz-covered flats and low hills near Barrydale and Ladismith.
