Copiapoa haseltoniana

Northern Chile, specifically the Antofagasta Region. It is endemic to the coastal desert north of Taltal, stretching toward Paposo. It grows on steep, rocky, granitic slopes and coastal terraces heavily influenced by the camanchaca fog.
