Notes
Succulent to 1'H × 1-2' W. Full sun, low water, well-drained to poor soil. Slow growing species, leaves have sharp terminal spine, and shorter curly haired margins.
Origin
Native to Northern and Central Mexico. This specific cultivar, 'Durango Delight', was selected by Greg Starr from seed collected along Highway 40 (the Mazatlán-Durango highway) in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains, near the border of Sinaloa and Durango.
