In a cement pot by Prickly Point. This is a winter-growing succulent, adapted to the winter rainfall of Namaqualand. It is dormant during the hot, dry summer and should be kept relatively dry during that time.

Origin: Northern Cape Province, South Africa. It is endemic to the Namaqualand region, specifically the high, rocky hills and mountains near Lekkersing and Steinkopf, often found in crevices of granite and quartzite rock formations.
